Music compos

The following rules apply to all music competitions:

• The entry must be submitted in a supported file format.
• The song is played 3½ minutes on the big screen. It may be longer though.
• Only one entry per musician is allowed

The Oldskool music compo rules are found in Oldskool compos in the Realtime compo category. Fast music compo rules are found from Fast compo pages.

Instrumental music

• The tunes have to be 100% instrumental, no human vocals allowed.
• Organizers reserve the right to resubmit your song to the Freestyle music. (For clarity: synthesized choir "aah" sounds and very short short human vocal samples eg. "Yo!" are OK for this competition, as long as they don't play major role in the tune. However, the jury will make a final call whether this is OK or not.)

Freestyle music

• This competition is open for any type of musical entries.
