Goto80 and Jossystem

Published: 07/26 20:31

Goto80 has been described as Sweden's greatest chip musician and has been abusing old computers and videogames for more than 10 years and has been seen playing live in more than 15 countries.

Despite his long experience he's known for breaking new grounds, using inspiration from electronica, pop, acid, breakcore, jazz, drum'n'bass, metal, electro, etc. In 2005 he won the artist of the year award at the renowned micromusic club Microdisko in Stockholm. He also went on a one month European tour and released his album 'Commodore Grooves'.

With a past as a purist C64/Gameboy/Amiga demoscene composer, today he also uses vocals, synthesizers and laptop to guarantee a full on lo tech explosion. Jossystem, mostly known for their generative internet works, is the VJ. They use their own Goto80 Visual System to do hardcore data freestyling.
