Following competitions are available for the mobile platform:

• GameDev

Platform rules

The mobile platform covers mobile phones, PDAs and portable game consoles. We are not limiting you to a given set of device categories, but rather we invite you to bring the hardware.

Your competition entry must adhere to following rules:

• Device has to run independently on its own battery without any external power supplies.
• The device and required accessories (including the battery) must weight no more than 300 grams.
• The device (or the components if it is a self-made or modded device) have to be publicly available for anyone to purchase
• You must provide specific instructions to build, configure, and install the entry to the device. If the device is your own specific hack, the instructions to do such a hardware hack must be included.
• It will help us if the device has external stereo or mono audio output. (3.5mm audio jack) If the device has some other audio output than 3.5mm audio output jack, please bring your own cables with RCA-male connector. The mixer has RCA-female or 6mm audio jack connectors.
• Please inform us a week before the party what kind of a device you are bringing with you. This will help us preparing for this competition. When submitting the entry to PTN, you must give a phone number to contact you during the party.

All the entries will be captured with a video camera or applicable TV output to show them on the big screen. Entries may be shown either landscape or portrait mode. The big screen is always in landscape mode, so in portrait mode you can't get the most out of it.
