ASSEMBLY Summer 2007 is over. It was once again a great party with 5000 visitors, lots of great competitions, cool program and most importantly, a great atmosphere!

The party place has been cleaned by now and all organizers are taking a welcome break after crunching day and night to get the party running smoothly.

You can now download the demoscene competition releases as well the official results from Scene.org.

If you happened to forget something to the Arena, you can visit the Security office of the Hartwall Areena to check out if your stuff is there. After a week all low value items such as towels will be thrown away. All valuable items will be transferred to Helsinki City Police Deparment's Lost and Found office.

We'd also like to ask you to answer our survey (in English or in Finnish) to help us make ASSEMBLY even better next year. We'll give out three free computer tickets to the next ASSEMBLY to randomly selected survey participants.

New world record for 3Dmark2005 set!

Kinc continued his efforts for the whole weekend and he finally borke the record. Due to the high humidity in the arena and faulty thermometre it was extremely hard for Kinc to run the benchmark because the condensation made every session last only 20-30 minutes.

Here's what you do:

• Design the coolest Flash game ever!
• There are no rules to what kind of a game to design, but as a guideline the game should be something funny, especially to the Finnish
• The game must have a splash screen that says: "Pelikone.fi Competition"
• The game must be your original idea, fun and funny. By uploading the game to pelikone.fi does not require you to give up your rights.
• No adult or offensive content you know what we mean
• Upload your game to pelikone.fi
• Add the game to Flash competition category
• Although you can do what you want with the game, the game must "debut" on Pelikone. That means no old hat games.
• You have until the Monday 1 October 2007. That means submissions on Tuesday will not qualify for the competition.

Voting will happen on the site, so the more friends you have the better your chances. We will choose the winner from the top 10 finalists. The winner will be announced on Monday 15 October.

The winners will receive

• First prize - ViewSonic N3766W 37" HD-Ready LCD-TV + 1 year subscription to Pelit-lehti
• First runner up - Playstation 3 + 1 year subscription to Pelit-lehti
• Second runner up - 1 year subscription to Pelit- lehti
• Third runner up - Genuine Pelikone fan and T-shirt (only S available)

The winning game and the developer's interview will be featured on Pelit Magazine.
