Megascreen

Take part in creating the world's largest computer display!

Megascreen is an unique attempt to create the world's largest computer display by showing graphics simultaneously on all of ASSEMBLY's 3000 computers! All of the computers in the Arena are synchronized and it's time to show demo effects on all of them simultaneously. All you need to do is to turn on your computer, point your browser to the right address and watch the show!

This is an unique event that requires that everybody at ASSEMBLY participates. Please be part of it!

How to participate

The Megascreen event is organized in two events

1. First run: Friday 1.8. at 13:00 - 13:30
   
2. Second run: Friday 1.8 at 17:00 - 17:30
   

What to do:

• Install a recent web browser on your machine (e.g. Firefox 2 or 3, Internet Explorer 7, Opera 9)
• Open a web page with your browser http://megascreen-a.asm.fi
• Put your browser to full screen mode
• Move away from the monitor, so that you are not blocking it with your head or body. You can also slightly tilt the monitor upwards, as the event is being video recorded from the 3rd floor grand stands.
• Enjoy the show! Check out the video that will be shown on the Megascreen.

Video

We will record the whole show, and release the video on the net. We will also the show the video recording on the big screen so you can see what's happening.
