Compo rules changes 2008 - 2009
The following changes were made to the competition rules between Assembly Summer 2008 and Assembly Summer 2009:
Change Batch #1
- Desktop compo machine specs were updated: quad-core processor, nVidia graphics adapter supports CUDA
- Desktop compo machine specs - Xbox/XNA -platform: bring your own hardware
- Graphics competition: As a clarification, stock photos cannot form major part of your entry. It is your work of art and people want to see your creativity!
Change Batch #2 - 30.6.2009
- Oldskool hardware specs updated: Gravis Ultrasound now accepted, also Protracker mod player changed to DeliPlayer
Change Batch #3 - 21.7.2009
- Desktop platforms updated: Unity3D web player is available as standard. However, the size of the web player (3.5MB) is added to the size of your production, and the combined size must fit under the compo's size limit.
Change Batch #4 - 3.8.2009
- Desktop platforms updated: Windows Vista is using Service Pack 2.
