Prizes published for demoscene competitions

The prizes for Assembly Summer 2009 demoscene competitions have been published. This year, we will have quite nice prizes and a lot of extra competitions to offer.

Assembly Summer 2009 prizes

Prizepool for this year's Assembly will top 45.000 euros and we are expecting it to go further when more competitions will be closing for the event. Some noteworthy issues from this year's event can be underlined as follows:

All winners (#1 placement) of each competition will have guaranteed cash prizes, both in demoscene and gaming competitions
The winner of the demo competition will also go straight to the finals of Live2011.com Grand Prix competition, with prizes over 140.000 euros!

We have been able to secure good sponsorship deals this year and it will show in the prizes as well. We hope you like it! Get your creative juices flowing and participate to the Assembly Competitions

Gaming competition prizes

Those will be published soon, we hope to conclude a negotiation which affects those quite considerably, so please bear with us. We are hoping on disclose those prizes in two weeks. We do have estimates for the base prizes already, but we would like to announce them as whole when we have all the information available.
