The first 11 ARTtech seminars have been announced. Killer sessions including world-class indie game developers, demo programming, symphonic video game music and much more!

The first 11 ARTtech seminars have been announced. Returning for the 8th year, the ARTtech seminars bring art and technology, games and demos, hardware and software, analog and digital.

Indie games

A key focus area for the ARTtech seminars in year 2009 are indie games. We are very proud to host two Independent Games Festival Grand Prix winners: Erik Svedäng with Blueberry Gardens (year 2009) and Petri Purho with Crayon Physics Deluxe (year 2008). We have an all star cast along with Erik and Petri including Eskil Steenberg, the developer behind the Love MMO, Jonatan Söderström talking about rapid game development and Mark Grady from Microsoft covering the exciting opportunities in the Windows Mobile market place!

More highlights

Along with indie games we have plenty of more rock stars like Jonne Valtonen (aka Purple Motion of Future Crew) talking about using symphonic orchestras to play videogame musicMartti Nurmikari (aka Preacher of Traction) making a much requested return with his Demo programming for beginners session and Mikko Hyppönen from F-Secure on Fighting Organized Online Crime.

The seminars will in total have close to 20 sessions, so stay tuned for further announcements.
