Take part in the cool competitions

Windows Mobile competition is about coding your entries on top of Windows Mobile 6.1 platform. There will be more than 3000 euros available as extra prizes given out by Microsoft for the winners - on top of the normal Assembly Summer prizes. You can participate on Real Wild and Game development categories to this extra competition. If the environment is not known to you or you lack the phones running Windows Mobile 6.1, don't worry - we will have devices to be loaned is you need them.

Silverlight competition - For the last two years, Microsoft has also been looking for the best Silverlight entry in Real Wild competition, where you can submit your browser run entries. The same competition is launching again this year, it will be run with Silverlight 3 which should be shipping well before the event. Get your beta from www.silverlight.net and start coding.

The "worst hardware" for Windows 7 - The new Windows 7 is coming in October and the release candidates have been available for now. The interesting thing is, that unlike Vista, the new Windows 7 seems to be running with much lighter hardware that it's predecessor. Microsoft has launched a hardware competition to find the oldest and "worst" hardware which can run the new operating system and get it connected to Assembly network.
