ASSEMBLY is over.

Sleeping area

The sleeping area is located in the third floor of Hartwall Areena. The whole third floor as well as most of the Grand stands is reserved for sleeping only. The majority of the third floor will have covers on the windows, so the area will be relatively dark. In addition to the third floor corridors, this year sleeping is also permitted in the third floor grand stands.

Each person can use maximum 1m x 2m for sleeping. There is ASSEMBLY personnel at the area making sure that the area is safe and quiet.

You can't store anything on the sleeping area. You need to take your mattresses etc with you when you leave sleeping area. The personnel will collect all unused items from the sleeping area. If you left something at the sleeping area, you can pick it up later at the Infodesk.

There aren't any beds, matresses or anything else. Just a concrete floor. So, remember to bring your own

  • matress / sleeping mat (MUST have!)
  • sleeping bag
  • ear plugs
  • blind fold (if you need it)

Tents are forbidden in the sleeping area, because of fire safety regulations.

Maps of the sleeping area in 3rd floor

Most of the sleeping area is located at the 3rd floor of Hartwall Areena. Sleeping places are available both in the grand stands as well as in the corridors.

Sleeping in the grand stands

grand stand sleeping area

The 3rd floor grand stand is divided into four sectors. The sector 1 (numbers shown on the picture above) is opened first. The next sector is opened after the previous fills up. During the night, the currently open sector is also shown on the big screen.

Sleeping in the corridor

corridor

The corridors of the third floor are also available for sleeping. All of the sleeping areas shown in the picture above are open all the time.

You should take extra care NOT to sleep in front of doors leading to outside of the Areena as these are emergency exists. The security will have to wake you up and move you to another place, and trust me, it is painful to wake up.

Sleeping at your computer place

You are allowed to sleep at your computer place by sitting on your chair and you must be fully visible at all times. You may not sleep under the tables or chairs.
