Gaming & sports competitions
ASSEMBLY is about meeting people and having fun with them. If you are not a demo-wizard, but still would like to challenge your friends at ASSEMBLY, the Gaming and Sports competitions are for you.
Game compos are an important part of the program at ASSEMBLY, although they not are not as numerous as the demoscene-related compos. ASSEMBLY has always embraced gamers, mainstreamers and hard core sceners. Diversity is a strength.
On this years event Peliliiga will organize Finnish Championship tournament in gaming and national finals for World Cyber Games. One of the event highlights is also WCG Nordic Counter Strike 1.6 finals - the battle of three countries - where the winning team guarantees a spot on the WCG Grand Finals in Los Angeles in CS 1.6 tournament.
Sports is the universal way to meet and have fun. So, it is natural that ASSEMBLY has sports competitions. Get off your seat and go sweat! =)
