The aim of the Ministry for Foreign Affair's Development Communications Group is to increase the knowledge of the Finnish public on global development matters and invite them to discuss the topic. The Development Communication Group has launched a netgame, Hodihodi - Life in Africa, which is aimed at 10-15 year-olds. In the Finnish Evangelical-Lutheran Church and its parishes offer people a place to discuss God, faith and any questions they might have. At Assembly we provide a Quiet Room where you can calm down and meet church youth workers. An evening worship will be held in Second Life in Kirkkosaari at 9 pm.

Game Tech&Arts Lab brings artists, programmers, and other game development students together to collaborate on game projects, thus allowing them to build their CVs and learn practical skills required in the game industry today. Game Tech&Arts Lab is a joint project between Turku University of Applied Sciences and University of Turku that also organizes game industry specific education and has game development facilities in the ICT-house in Kupittaa, Turku.

 Turku 2011 Turku, the European Capital of Culture for 2011, has initiated the world's largest media art and new media competition to highlight and support the growing field of digital media. The total sum of all the prizes exceeds 140,000 euros. A digital capital of culture, Live2011.com will be opened in 2010. Live2011.com is working with Assembly event to support young talents with live2011.com offerings and giving special event award for Assembly democompetition winner.
