Register to PTN

Registering for Assembly '06 in PTN has two phases:

1. logging in to PTN using your existing account or creating a new account
2. AND once logged in, adding your personal ticket registration code to your account.

Without a ticket number in PTN, you can't enter compos or use other Assembly'06 related features of PTN.

Step 1 - a) Using your existing account

1. Go to PTN at http://ptn.assembly.org
   
2. Look up your account by entering your e-mail address, name or handle in the "User ID" field
3. If your account is found, you'll be prompted to enter your password. If the information you entered matched more than one account, you'll be prompted to select the correct one. If you don't remember your password, click the "Mail me my password" button. If your e-mail address has changed, click the Support link on the bottom of the page and send a request to update your account. You may also contact Infodesk to request a new password.
   
4. Once you've successfully entered your password, you'll be logged into PTN.

Step 1 - b) Creating a new account

1. Go to PTN at http://ptn.assembly.org
   
2. The system will ask you for your e-mail address. PTN will first check if the e-mail address is already in the database. If not, you will return to the same screen and a "Create new account" button is displayed.
3. Click the "Create new account" button. The system will ask for your name, phone number, home country and new account password.
   1. NOTE: It is very important that you enter your mobile phone number (if you have one) if you are entering compos, so that Assembly Organizing can contact you during the event, should there be any problems with your entry. Also, please enter your real name here; you can enter your group and handle separately.
4. Once your information is filled in, click "Save". An e-mail will be sent to the address you provided. The e-mail will contain a link to confirm your account. If your account is not confirmed, you cannot add your Assembly'06 ticket registration code into PTN.

Step 2- Adding a ticket to your PTN account

You will receive a registration code for each ticket with the order confirmation or if you are purchasing your ticket from the door, you will get one when you pick up your tickets. Registration codes are 15 to 16 characters long and consist of numbers 0-9 and A-F (f.i. 123456ABCDEF7890 could be one). See below for example:

1. Log into PTN and select "Your account".
2. On this page you can add link your ticket registration code to your account. This is necessary in order to access all Assembly'06 related features in PTN. In the text field on the page, enter your ticket registration code.
   
3. Click "Add ticket". The registration code is validated and if it is correct, you should now see the ticket details in this window. Congrats! You can now access all Assembly'06 features, such as signing up for compos.
