ASSEMBLY Winter '07 sets a new record for prizes in gaming compos: total of over 30 000 € worth of prizes! Selected Pro gaming tournaments are also part of World Cyber Games as a pre-qualifier event.
The prizes for ASSEMBLY Winter 2007 have been published and they set a new Finnish record: over 30 000 euros worth of prizes are awarded to the best players at the event!
Leading the pack is of course the BattleField 2142 tournament with its 10 000 € cash prize for the winning team. Teams at places 2 to 8 will also picking up prizes worth apprx. 5 000 €! The huge prizes have attracted easily the top 20 teams from Europe to compete in the Whoop Ass Challenge. GameTV is webcasting selected matches, so check out the action!
ASSEMBLY Winter 2007 is also an official World Cyber Games event and it hosts a selection Pro gaming tournament that act as prequalifiers for the national finals to be held at ASSEMBLY Summer 2007.
