Instructions for computer tickets

Computer tickets are tickets, which allow you access to the party place 24h/day for the whole duration of the event, and guarantee you a reserved computer place. There are roughly 1000 computer tickets for sale for ASSEMBLY Winter '07.
Computer tickets are sold using an interactive Java Applet user interface, which allows to you to "point and click" on the exact place you want to buy. Before you can buy tickets with this interface you will have to register.
Registration for ticket sales is open from Sunday 25th of February at 19:00 (Finnish time, UTC+3). Tickets are sold from Sunday 11th of March at 19:00 (Finnish time, UTC+3) until the start of the party. Computer places tickets cost 50 €.
The ticket ordering system will randomly select new buyers several times a day from all of the registered people. The selection is completely random: it doesn't matter if you registered a month ago or two minutes ago!
Because the selection is random and there are only a limited number of computer tickets available, we can not guarantee that everybody who registers gets to buy.
REPEAT: registration doesn't guarantee that you can buy!
Because of the high demand for ASSEMBLY tickets we feel that random selection is the only fair way to select the buyers. To prevent abuse of the system we check all registrations for duplicates.
Registration
The first step is to register as ticket buyer as shown below. When you register, you will then be placed in the lottery queue.
Please register as instructed below
- Click on the "Register to ticket sales" to start the ordering
- Enter your personal information on the form
- If the registration contained the necessary fields, it will be accepted and you will be notified immediately by email
- Your information will be checked for duplicates in the order database. If there are duplicates, your registration will be removed.
- The ticket ordering system selects new buyers several times a day.
- If and when you are selected, your password and the URL to the applet will be emailed to you.
Please note that if you bought tickets in advance in year 2003, you already have a valid user account and you don't need to register again. You will receive a reminder email with your user account and password two weeks prior to the start of the registration to ticket sales. You can use this user account to buy tickets also this year. Note: You must re-enter lottery in order to be enrolled to lottery.
Buy tickets
After you have received your password it is time to buy the tickets
To buy the tickets you need to
- Open the URL from the email with your web browser. Note that you need a Java enabled browser
- Login to the applet using your email address and the password sent to you in the email.
- Select the computer places in the applet by clicking on the places you want to buy
- If you want to buy also entry tickets, enter the amount of entry tickets in the applet.
- Select the payment method you want to use (web payment or COD)
- Once you are finished verify the ticket order details and click "Buy" to save your order
- Your order will be saved and you will get a notification of the order by email
Pay tickets
The final step is to pay for your tickets:
You can either pay with web payment (recommend) or with COD. When you pay with web payment you will save time and money. To pay with web payment, follow the instructions below:
- The purchase confirmation email sent to you contains payment instructions. Simply click on the link in the mail to open up the proper page on the ASSEMBLY website
- Select which order(s) you want to pay now
- Select the bank you wish to use
- You are transferred to the bank you selected
- Pay the tickets in the online bank
- You are then returned to ASSEMBLY website and a confirmation of successful payment is shown. A confirmation email will also be sent to you.
- Tickets will be shipped directly to your home within 2 weeks.
To pay with COD, select COD when buying your tickets
- We will ship your order in 2-3 weeks with COD (Cash on Delivery)
- The post office will receive your package a week after and they will send you a note by post
- You get the tickets after you have paid for them at the post office
Please note that your password will work only for one order! If you want to buy a second time, you will need to re-enter into lotter.
Note: the amount of tickets you actually buy can be different from the preliminary info you gave during registration.
P.S. Remember to print out the email confirmation and take it with you to the party place!
