Prizes

The total value of all the prizes for ASSEMBLY Winter 2009 is 10.000 euros. The prizes are awarded in the Pro competitions, with trophies and diplomas awarded for Amateur competitions and Social gaming. All Sports and Unofficial competition winners will receive recognition and diplomas. Winners of Pro competitions will receive all cash prizes,  the second place will receive prizes consisting of minimum 50% of cash and hardware and the third place prizes may be hardware only.

Please note that compared to last year we have moved over 5000 € worth of prizes to ASSEMBLY Summer 2009 to increase the prizes given out at the national finals of Peliliiga.

Final prize amounts may still go up depending of sponsors and budget. All prizes will include hardware and we calculate the value of hardware based on average prices on MBNet's Hintaseuranta.

All damages to the party place, other surroundings and other damages caused by party visitors will be REDUCED from the prizes before any prizes are paid. This is because of previous trouble with people breaking up places, furniture and spraying the walls and thus causing damage of many thousand euros.

Depending of the quality and number of participants in each competition, ASSEMBLY Organizing can opt to redistribute some of the prizes (max 50%) to other categories.

All prizes will be paid at the party place. All the cash prizes will be paid in euros. By the Finnish regulations, the winners must handle all possible taxes from their prizes by themselves with their own country's tax authorization. Assembly is keeping the logs and will provide them to these authorities by request.

Professional gaming competitions

Note: Winners of Pro competitions will receive all cash prizes, Second place prizes will consist of minimum 50% of cash and the rest as hardware. Third place prices maybe all hardware. Console games are to be announced.

Note: All prizes are always hardware only. Winners in Social gaming competitions that are not listed will receive diplomas.

Sports and Sponsored and Unofficial compos

Winners in Sports competitions will receive diplomas.

Winners in Sponsored and Unofficial compos will receive prizes only if the sponsors or organizers of these compos donate prizes, in which the information about such prizes is always listed on the web page for each such competition. If no prize is listed, there are no prizes for that competition.
