The competition will be played with Xbox 360 Guitar Hero: World Tour. There two competitions: Guitar only (this page) and Full Band

Basic Rules:
- Difficulty: Expert
- Matches are played in Guitar Hero World Tour. No DLC (Downloaded Content)
- All matches are played in Pro Face-Off -mode

Tournament Rules

Seeding round:
Guitar Hero tournament starts with a seeding round. In this seeding round all contestants play one song (decided by organizers) and they will be seeded to A, B, C and D-groups.

Group round:
In group round, contestants play against every opponent from their group. Songs for this round are selected by contestants themselves. If contestants can't agree on the song, organizer decide it for them. Winner of the song gets one point and 1st in the group advances to the semifinals. In tie situation contestants play one more song to determine who advances.

Semifinals:
In semifinals winners of A and C groups play against eachother and B and D groups play against eachother.
Only one song is played in the semifinals which is decided by the players. If contestants can't decide the song, organizers decide the song.

Finals:
Finals are played in best of three where contestants decide one song each and the tiebreaker song is decided by organizers.

Although the competition is all about the points, the jury also picks and rewards the best performer!
